David has worked on many incredible works of art and illustrations for authors including Philip Pullman, Diana Wynne Jones, Terry Pratchett, Geraldine McCaughrean and Philip Reeve.
He lives in North Wales where the ancient landscape provides much inspiration for his particular brand of mythic art. He has also generously volunteered his time for conservation groups such as the Wildlife trust and Wild Connect.
Recently he won the Blue Peter Book of the Year for his work on Podkin One-Ear by Kieran Larwood.
